In her high school career, she wins the Minnesota state championship twice and the state championship a total of three times. She earned 19 letters in swimming and diving, gymnastics, track and field, and basketball in high school and served as captain of the diving, gymnastics, and track and field teams. She has broken and continues to hold numerous state diving records. She received the most prestigious Athena Award during her school years.
In 2018, after completing high school, she was accepted to North Taxes University. Placed second in 1-meter diving, sixth in 3-meter diving, and seventh in platform diving at the Conference USA Championships.
She won the TCU 1-meter diving competition and, more importantly, placed second at Rice in the 3-meter event (213.90).
In the 2020-21 sophomore class, (1)She placed second in the 1 meter with a time of 242.4 and third in the 3 meter with a time of 233.95 against Rice. (2) sixth place in the 1 meter with 213.82; (3) second place in the 1 meter with 272.4 against SMU; B-Final with a score of 254.35; eighth in 3 meters A-Final with a score of 254.3; 5th in the Platform A-Final with a score of 208.00 at the Conference USA Swimming and Diving Championships.
In her senior year at North Taxes University, she earned Third-Team All-Conference USA honors in the 3-meter event and NCAA Zones qualification in the 1- and 3-meter events. This was the year she won a number of competitions, including: (1) 1st place in 1 meter with 285.53; 1st in 3 meters at 275.85 against Incarnate Word; (2) 1st place in 1 meter at 279.53; 1st in 3 meters at 301.58 against New Mexico State; (3) 1st place in Platform at 209.85 at Houston to break the program record for the event; (5) 3rd place in 3 meter A-Final.

Saylor Hawkins is a member of a lovely family. He received his undergraduate degree from Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU). During the years 1989 to 1992, he was a two-time All-American at SMSU in football and track. His career is outstanding.
As a soccer player, In 1991, he set a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NINA) invitational record with 126 receptions for 1,515 yards and 18 touchdowns. In addition, he rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns and returned one kickoff for a touchdown. He concluded the season with 134 points, which is the second-highest total in school history.
In 1992, he was selected by the New England Patriots in the NFL Draft, becoming the second SMSU player ever to be drafted by an NFL team.
