Graham Nash was born on 2nd February 1942 in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. He is the son of William and Mary Nash. He moved to Manchester at the age of seven and attended the secondary school in Wythenshawe. At the age of fifteen, he joined the Hollies, a popular British band, and co-wrote some of their hit songs. He moved to Los Angeles in 1968 and formed Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young with David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Neil Young. The group released several albums and toured extensively. After the group disbanded in 1974, Nash released his first solo album, Songs for Beginners. He has since released a number of acclaimed solo albums, and has also collaborated with a number of other artists.
